This weekend, the island kicks off its holiday fun with Santa Claus’ arrival by ferryboat, snow for the kids to play in (yep!) and a good ol’ fashioned parade down Orange Avenue.

So grab a (light) sweater and head to one of these seasonal outdoor ice rinks before winter’s end.
If you’re an arts lover, you love these events coming up in San Diego, Nov. 6 – 10. And if you prefer to get outdoors, there’s lots of options for you, too: set sail on a historic ship, go ice skating or just sample some San Diego beers under the sun.

The “Crown City” has a stocking full of fun & festive activities that are sure to delight visitors of all ages.
While lights wrapped around palm trees are much more common than snowmen with carrots for noses, San Diego gets into the winter spirit with a twist. Just throw on a pair of jeans and grab a light jacket before you and your loved one(s) head out for some outdoor ice skating under the warm San Diego sky.
