  1. Hans and Frans was hilarious too! We want to pump *clap* you up! The amount of talent he was born with is just amazing! Would love to see him live!

  2. I think mine would have to be Johnny Carson.. “weird, wild stuff!” Especially “Carsenio” I think I about died when I watched it!

  3. Oh gosh, Dana Carvey is hilarious. I really most remember the Bush and Church lady skits, so I’d have to say that they are my favorite. But I will happily go google some classic skits to help the day pass by!

  4. well my fav is the Church lady…….I totally love it when he says “Isn’t that special” omg I have used that statement so so so so many times during my life……I am 62 and I always laugh when he is on…..he also as the church lady reminds me of alot of women in the churches I have attended during my life as a Christian and going to church…when I was lil I use to think they were really faking trying to be nice…when they really didn’t want to be that nice to kids……Ruthe “GO DANA” <3 u

  5. Church lady is soooo funny! he was hilarious in master of disguise..”this is what you’re doing, this is what i want you to do” hahah classic!

  6. Chris, Pat’s special someone
Pat meets Chris, another sexually ambiguous character played by Dave Foley. (On SNL, Chris had been played by Dana Carvey.) They quickly fall in love and propose to each other at exactly the same time. Before the wedding, however, Chris breaks up with Pat on account of Pat’s arrogance and the fact that Pat cannot decide on a direction in life.

  7. My favorite has got to be the Church Lady. I still see people doing imitations of that!

  8. I always loved the church lady but every thing was great! It would be fun to see him. Just moved to San Diego!! Yay!!

  9. Garth Algar in Wayne’s World!!! “That is a babe. She makes me feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.” Haha classic!

  10. My favorite impersonation is his any and all of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Sure a lot of people can do the same, but Carvey nails it and never fails to make me laugh in hysterics.

  11. dana carvey? in san diego? the weekend i happen to be coming (back out) to visit?? “I’m not worthy! I think I’m gonna hurl!” Garth has always been my favorite (but I have been known to quote Bush Sr. and Church Lady as well…)

  12. there isn’t anything that isn’t funny. He seems to be able to snatch anyone’s character but I loved the Paul McCartney impersonation best. It was his first ever with his father. He seems to be able to transform his face and almost grow “parts” that he needs to mimic everyone. I swear he even had the same eyelids as Paul. He is just an amazing talent and can take you out of the doldrums into hysterics. What a gift!

  13. Definitely George Bush..hands down. But I love him as the Church lady from Saturday Night Live!

  14. My favorite Dana Carvey line – “Could it be…Satan?!” Out of all of the characters he has done through the years, I still roar with laughter when I see the old SNL episodes of the Church Chat lady. His walk, facial expressions, and mannerisms when he played that part were hilarious!

  15. Loved his Church Lady and Hans characters, his best impersonation was George Bush but he did a good Arnold Schwarzenegger, too

  16. Oh goodness, picking one is hard, but I think it would have to be Church Lady! Absolutely hilarious!!!

  17. I love Dana Carvey!!!! His George Bush impersonation was too funny, it will always be my favorite!!!! 😀

  18. Damn thats a tough one, The Church Lady without a doubt, “Its that special” Dana is so awesome, would love to see him live.

  19. I always loved both Pres. Bushes, and Perot was good too. But his Tedd Copel impersonation was very very funny!

  20. Rich Little is my favorite impersonation of Dana’s. Dana’s really got it going with the talents he has.

  21. My fave Dana Carvey impression was of Ross Perot! I loved it on SNL. It was spot on and HILARIOUS! I really want to see his stand up!

  22. MY favorite will always be President Bush….. too much!!! Love all his sketches but Bush is so my fav. Thanks!

  23. I love Dana’s George Bush, Sr. . . . “wouldn’t be prudent” . . .

  24. My favorite Dana Carvey impression is Ronald Regan. The “Regan Oracle” bit from his last HBO special is pure gold!
