Landlubbers Day
A celebration of all things pirate in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day. We encourage young and old to throw on their best pirate attire for a day of eye patches, parrots and walking the plank! The free event features live music from the Jackstraws, San Diego’s own pirate-themed band; a “Talk Like a Pirate” and costume contest; arts and crafts; and pirate’s booty food and drink specials from the Seaport Village eateries.

San Diego Bayfair
Recent invites to over 23 individual racing classes and over 150 high competition teams, highlights this year’s exciting speed classic on the waters of Mission Bay Park. Annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival
Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival is Fleet Week San Diego’s marquee event. The event features fast-paced, thrilling auto racing and exhibitions for car enthusiasts of all ages at one of the most distinctive race track locations – Naval Air Station North Island, the birthplace of Naval Aviation. Nowhere else can you see a variety of cars racing on a live runway used by the U.S. Navy.

Old Town San Diego Fiestas Patrias
Our exciting and colorful Fiestas Patrias parade kicks off the festivities that will include the Escaramuzas, traditional women equestrians. Following the parade, there will be a variety of entertainment, including historic and traditional music and dance groups, crafts, games and informational demonstrations that represent the activities enjoyed by the early settlers on San Diego in the 1800s. The award winning Chula Vista High School Mariachis will perform during the day.

San Diego Chargers VS. Jacksonville Jaguars
In their first regular-season home game, the Chargers face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Don’t forget to get to the stadium early to check out all the pre-game festivities.
