2016 MCAS Miramar Air Show
Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is once again hosting the largest military Air Show in the country! This year’s theme is Celebrating 100 Years of the Marine Corps Reserves. MCAS Miramar is honored to host an amazing lineup of military and civilian performers and is pleased to welcome back the world-famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels for what is sure to be another thrilling performance. Civilian Breitling L-39 Jet Team will be performing along with U.S. Navy Leap Frogs, U.S. Army Golden Nights and the amazing Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).

Poway Rodeo
Professional rodeo cowboys from around the country compete during the 42nd Annual Poway Rodeo. Guests can watch contestants compete in events such as Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Bull Riding. There’s even a “Mutton Bustin” event where kids under 50lbs. ride sheep. They try to hold on for 8 seconds, just like the cowboys.

22nd Annual San Diego Festival of Beer
This year’s Festival will return to the Broadway Pier. The indoor/outdoor event will feature live music and nearly 60 different breweries serving up 120 varieties of tasty brews. Inside the San Diego Festival of Beer, will be food items and munchies for sale in addition to a selection of fine wines for purchase by the glass. Each ticket includes admission into the event, unlimited (2 oz) beer tastes and the first 1,500 guests receive a free souvenir event logo tasting mug that is theirs to use throughout the evening and to keep when they go home.

22nd Annual Pacific Islander Festival
A free event that showcases the cultures and customs of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia with continuous entertainment throughout the weekend. Held at Mission Bay’s Ski Beach, the event also features food, music and specialty crafts unique to each culture.

Adams Avenue Street Fair

Art & Craft Show Old Town San Diego

Julian Apple Days Festival

Tour de Fat San Diego
The events kick off with a costumed bicycle parade that winds through city streets, ending in a city park. That’s when eclectic entertainment takes over from musical acts to yo-yo performers, bike contests and even vaudeville acts. This year will also include some brewing education and feature a “Bicycle Revival” to inspire festival-goers to believe in the power of two-wheeled transportation.
