2017 MCAS Miramar Air Show
MCAS Miramar is honored to host an amazing lineup of military and civilian performers including the world famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels for what is sure to be another thrilling performance. Civilian Breitling L-39 Jet Team will be performing along with U.S. Navy Leap Frogs, U.S. Army Golden Knights and the amazing Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF).

Poway Rodeo
Professional rodeo cowboys from around the country compete during the 43rd Annual Poway Rodeo. Guests can watch contestants compete in events such as Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Tie Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Bull Riding. There’s even a “Mutton Bustin” event where kids under 50lbs. ride sheep. They try to hold on for 8 seconds, just like the cowboys.

23rd Annual San Diego Festival of Beer

Impossible Science Festival
Join the Fleet’s Curator of Impossible Science, Jason Latimer, as he hosts the second annual Impossible Science Festival. The Impossible Science Festival will be a hands-on, interactive event that explores the science behind the seemingly impossible. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn how to turn objects invisible, explore levitation, play with the science of mind control, discover impossible figures and other amazing feats of science. This event will examine the question “what is possible?” and use visual and interactive experiences to show how the seemingly impossible can become possible through curiosity and knowledge.
