San Diego Padres vs. Washington Nationals

Ramona Rodeo
One of the country’s top PRCA sanctioned full-scale pro rodeos, competitive events include barrel racing, tie-down roping, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, and bareback riding. Other activities include a cowgirl fashion show, cowboy and cowgirl mixer, Kid’s Day clowns, rodeo queens, and photo and autograph opportunities. Don’t miss the Romana Main Street Parade on Saturday morning.

Pet Day on the Bay
Hornblower’s popular, pup-friendly Pet Day on San Diego Bay promises a tail-wagging good time! This is the one time each year that Hornblower invites dogs to cruise for free with their owners. Guests are also encouraged to contribute a gently used blanket or towel that will warm needy animals at the Helen Woodward Animal Center.

Pirate Days
There is a saying: “Where there is a sea, there are Pirates,” so the Museum holds to the time-worn tradition of swashbuckling Pirates, brandishing their swords, to engage, delight, guide and educate our visitors. A two-day celebration for kids of all ages, will include kids costume contests, carnival games, cannon firings, weapon demonstrations, sword fights, scary stories, and scavenger hunt for the pirate treasure which the mermaid holds at the end of the treasure hunt.

Space Day Celebration
Space Day will feature demonstrations, giveaways, and hands-on activities with local and national space experts. Attendees also have the chance to meet a real astronaut! Local astronaut Woody Spring, whose ambitious spacewalks from the space shuttle helped prepare for the construction of the International Space Station, is planning to join us and share stories of his dynamic space career.

This annual free festival has grown into a local tradition that includes amazing local art, exciting live music and dance performances, eco-friendly activities, vendor booths and fabulous food. Our hands-on Kids Art Block offers children the chance to participate in a variety of interactive activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations and create their own masterpieces. Explore Mission Trails Day
Connecting with Nature is the theme of our 2015 Explore Mission Trails Day. This popular event features free guided nature walks, talks and programs throughout the park, including live animals and special programs for children. There were also be free pony rides (9 to 1), a climbing wall, crafts for children, and many Discovery Stations.

Green Flash’s Cellar 3 Grand Opening

Navy’s Bay Bridge Run/Walk
This unique 4-mile run/walk has a one of a kind spectacular panoramic view as participants make their way to Coronado’s beautiful Tidelands Park from downtown San Diego over the Coronado Bay Bridge. During the finish line celebration, runners receive a commemorative event shirt and complimentary transportation back to downtown. Hope to see you on the bridge!

SDCVA Wine & Food Festival

Escondido Grand Avenue Festival
Since 1989, the Escondido Grand Avenue Festival has brought live entertainment, over 500 vendors, children’s rides and activities, and food from around the world to the downtown tree-lined streets of Escondido.
