Union Bank Fallback Festival presented by G.Q.H.F.
Take a stroll down the historical streets of the Gaslamp Quarter and fall back into San Diego’s wild past of the 1880’s. The whole family is engaged in the magical old-fashioned atmosphere that the Fall Back Festival brings to life each year. The idea, of course, is to make history fun, yet educational. Kids can pan for gold with actual prospectors, observe a real blacksmith plying his trade, saddle up for an adventurous pony ride, or learn to churn butter and dip their own candles. They can even find a sheriff and throw their parents in the town jail! There is fun to be had for the entire family.
Where: Island and Fourth Avenues, San Diego, CA 92101
When: November 8, 2015
Time: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Cost: Free
