A couple of weeks ago, the San Diego Zoo opened a cool new exhibit, Polar Bear Plunge, and I was among the lucky few (along with Tori Spelling, Denise Richards and Candace Cameron OMG, OMG, OMG!) that got a sneak-peak preview before it opened to the public… Check out the video here (you can see me cluelessly walk by at 1:58 seconds)
The exhibits main draw is of course the bears, but it also provides tons of education about their behaviors and lifestyle in addition to shining light on the environmental threats these bears are facing in the wild. It’s no secret that our climate is changing and the exhibit does a wonderful job of suggesting ways we can reduce our carbon footprint to help save these beautiful bears.
