Want to be Sherlock Holmes for a night? We’re giving away four (4) tickets to The Dinner Detective in Downtown San Diego. Leave a comment on this blog post by noon P.S.T. on Friday, December 9, 2011 for a chance to win!
As my wife and I entered the hotel lobby, we sensed that something was afoul. We chatted with the other guests (some of whom seemed a little odd) while waiting for the dining room to open. Things took a turn for the worst when right in the middle of dinner, someone was murdered!
While enjoying a delicious four-course meal, we took part in the entertaining interactive murder mystery show of “Who Dunnit?” put on by The Dinner Detective. Everyone is a suspect at the table, and the objective of the evening (besides enjoying the great meal), is to guess who the guilty party is. Clues are slowly revealed as you move from course-to-course, and it is up to you to guess who the 2 actors at the table are. Pay close attention because at the end of the night you must submit your best guess on who is the murderer. If you are the top sleuth, you could win a tantalizing prize package (my wife actually won the prize!).
Dinner Detective shows are offered multiple times a month at the Courtyard Marriott in Downtown San Diego. And starting on December 17, 2011, it will also be offered at the California Center for The Arts in North County.
You can even up the ante by surprising your loved one as they become part of the show with the Gift, Celebration and Romance packages. Those looking for something a little different during the holidays or New Year’s Eve can book a spot during one of the special shows during December.
This is a dinner you will never forget…if you make it out alive!
