Del Mar National Horse Show
One of the oldest and most prestigious equestrian competitions in the Western US, the Annual Del Mar National Horse Show is composed of a week each of Western, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper competition. Over 3,000 horses take part, representing many breeds, at the equestrian complex at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in coastal Del Mar. Spectators will see reining, spins, sliding stops, elegant dressage moves choreographed to music, daredevil show jumping, trick riders, comedy acts, thrills and spills, and more.

Fee Free Weekend at Cabrillo National Monument

Chicano Park Day Celebration
The theme for the 2014 celebration is “La Tierra Es De Quien La Trabaja: The Land Belongs To Those Who Work It.” Visitors to Chicano Park Day will experience traditional music and dance, including one of the most beautiful performances of Aztec Indigenous dance, ballet folklorico, live music, classic lowrider cars, kids (all ages) art workshop, food, arts and crafts vendors.
