The luck of the Irish has befallen us this year because St. Patrick’s Day is on a Saturday! What exactly does that mean? It means a full day of holiday revelry – and you know how San Diegans like a good holiday!

A Stylist’s Love Affair with San Diego’s Fashion Valley Shopping Center!
What does a Personal Wardrobe Stylist love to do on her off time? Shop of course! Most stylists consider it an actual sport. As a Personal Stylist one of my favorite one-stop-shopping places to accomplish all goals related to fashion is Fashion Valley Shopping Center, located in the central Mission Valley area. Fashion Valley has been the hub of San Diego’s retail scene for over 40 years. With an abundance of store options and convenient complimentary parking, my goals are easily met.

Obstacle Races in San Diego – Are You Tough Enough?!
Having just completed the Southern California Spartan Race last weekend in Temecula, my interest in obstacle races has piqued. Who else out there enjoys torturing themselves by running miles and miles while climbing over/under walls, jumping fire, dodging gladiators and in general just beating your body to a pulp? I certainly didn’t think I was going to be “that guy,” but I challenged myself to do the Spartan this year as a motivator to improve my fitness and health in 2012 – and ended up enjoying it (did I just write that?!).
So for those who are already into these types of races, or those that would like to challenge themselves, after the break are a few other San Diego obstacle races that are happening in the not too distant future
